Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Tekla Modeller to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in structural steel modelling, detailing, connection modelling, and drawing extraction using Tekla Structures. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality fabrication and erection models and drawings while ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures.
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA), Assembly, Single Part, and Erection drawings.
- Create fabrication models for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
- Model steel connections based on design drawings and project requirements.
- Generate NC files, BOMs, material reports, and CNC data.
- Perform self-checks and quality reviews before submission.
- Coordinate with project managers, checkers, and clients to resolve technical issues.
- Review IFC drawings and identify missing information or discrepancies.
- Raise RFIs (Requests for Information) whenever required.
- Ensure compliance with client standards, AISC, OSHA, AWS, IS, BS, Eurocode, or project-specific detailing standards.
- Manage revisions and incorporate client comments efficiently.
- Support and mentor junior Tekla modellers.
- Ensure project milestones and delivery schedules are achieved.
