Position Overview
We are looking for dedicated and dynamic individuals for the position of Professor of Law. The
successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, conducting impactful
research, and contributing to the vibrant academic community at BITS Law School.
Focus Areas
We are currently inviting applications from candidates with expertise in one or more of the following
areas:
- Intellectual Property Rights
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive course modules, leveraging innovative teaching methods
(Socratic method, case studies, and experiential learning).
- Conduct high-quality, original legal research leading to publications in reputed peer-reviewed
journals, edited volumes, and books.
- Secure research grants, fellowships, or funded projects from national and international agencies
where possible.
- Present research findings at academic conferences, seminars, and workshops.
- Contribute to policy-oriented research, law reform initiatives, and expert committees where
relevant.
- Contribute to curriculum development, student mentoring, and administrative committees.
- Provide academic leadership within the school, including curriculum revision and programme
development.
