YOU Skincare is looking for a creative and execution-focused Video Editor who understands modern D2C content, social media trends, and product storytelling.
This role is ideal for someone who can not only edit videos but also assist in planning and shooting content that drives engagement, views, and sales.
Responsibilities
- Edit Instagram Reels, Meta Ads, YouTube Shorts, and product videos.
- Create high-converting short-form content using strong hooks, transitions, captions, and music synchronization.
- Shoot product videos, lifestyle content, behind-the-scenes footage, and creator-style videos.
- Convert raw clips into engaging and viral-style content suitable for D2C brands.
- Understand social media trends and adapt them for brand content.
- Organize, manage, and maintain video assets efficiently.
- Work closely with the marketing team to create performance-driven creatives.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong knowledge of Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, or similar editing software.
- Experience shooting videos using smartphones and cameras with gimble.
- Understanding of D2C brands, product marketing, and social media content.
- Good knowledge of hooks, storytelling, pacing, music syncing, and retention techniques.
- Ability to independently plan, shoot, and edit content.
- Portfolio of Instagram Reels, Ads, or Product Videos is mandatory.
Preferred
- Experience working with skincare, beauty, fashion, or D2C brands.
- Knowledge of photography and basic graphic design.
- Understanding of Meta Ads creatives and content that converts into sales.
Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
