Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our furniture and home décor showroom. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing showroom staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, and achieving business objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Drive showroom sales and achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase footfall and conversions.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management.
- Build strong relationships with customers and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Store Operations
- Manage day-to-day showroom operations efficiently.
- Ensure the showroom is visually appealing, clean, and well-maintained.
- Monitor product displays and merchandising standards.
- Ensure smooth opening and closing of the showroom.
Team Management
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the sales and support staff.
- Conduct staff training on product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques.
- Allocate duties, manage schedules, and monitor employee performance.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement teams for replenishment.
- Ensure proper inventory tracking and stock accuracy.
- Minimize stock losses and damages through effective controls.
Customer Service
- Handle customer concerns, complaints, and escalations professionally.
- Ensure a premium shopping experience for all customers.
- Follow up on customer inquiries and pending orders.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Maintain records of sales, inventory, and showroom expenses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in retail store management, preferably in furniture, home décor, lifestyle, or showroom sales.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and billing/ERP software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
