Role Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time Video Editing Mentor to guide aspiring video editors through practical learning, structured feedback, and industry-relevant workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct mentoring sessions 3 days per week
- Review and provide constructive feedback on editing assignments
- Teach editing techniques, storytelling, pacing, and post-production workflows
- Assist learners in building demo reels and professional portfolios
- Share industry best practices and career development advice
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of video editing experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects
- Understanding of post-production workflows and visual storytelling
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Availability to work three days per week consistently
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior mentoring, teaching, or coaching experience
- Experience working with students or junior creatives
