Job Description
We are looking for an Audit Executive with experience in the Jewellery or Retail Industry. The candidate will be responsible for stock verification, sales and purchase audits, billing checks, cash reconciliation, and identifying discrepancies in jewellery operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct physical verification of Gold, Diamond, Silver and Jewellery stock.
- Reconcile physical stock with ERP/SAP records.
- Check SKU, barcode, weight, purity and product details.
- Verify sales invoices, billing, discounts, making charges, wastage and taxes.
- Check sales returns, exchanges, cancellations and credit notes.
- Verify purchase invoices, quantity, weight, purity, rates and supporting documents.
- Reconcile cash, card, UPI and bank transactions.
- Verify diamond/stone details including carat weight and certificates, where applicable.
- Audit showroom, warehouse and stock transfer records.
- Check compliance with company policies and approval procedures.
- Identify stock shortages, excess stock, billing errors and suspicious transactions.
- Prepare discrepancy and audit reports and follow up for corrective action.
- Maintain proper audit records and reports.
Required Skills
- 1+ year experience in Audit – Jewellery / Retail Industry preferred.
- Good knowledge of Jewellery Stock & Inventory.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/SAP.
- Understanding of accounting and reconciliation.
- Knowledge of gold, diamond and jewellery measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
