FMCG Product Sales Manager Position: Sales Manager – FMCG

Experience: 3–7 Years in FMCG Sales
1. Role Overview
We are looking for a Sales Manager to drive sales, distribution, and market expansion for our FMCG product range in the Indore region. The role involves managing distributors, leading a sales team, and ensuring strong market execution.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesSales Achievement
- Deliver monthly and annual sales targets.
- Increase product visibility and improve market penetration.
- Monitor primary & secondary sales daily.
Distribution Management
- Appoint, manage, and develop distributors.
- Ensure product availability, proper stock rotation, and timely order booking.
- Improve numeric and weighted distribution across channels.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and motivate Sales Executives/DSRs/TSIs.
- Conduct regular market visits with team members.
- Implement daily route plans and beat management.
Market Execution
- Implement trade schemes, promotions, and merchandising activities.
- Ensure planogram compliance and shelf visibility.
- Identify new outlets, routes, and emerging sales opportunities.
Market Insights & Reporting
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and promotions.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports.
- Share market intelligence with management and suggest actions.
3. Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred).
- 3–7 years of experience in FMCG sales (food, snacks, beverages, personal care preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Indore market & surrounding areas.
- Good communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, MIS reporting, and sales analytics.
