Job Description: Business Head – Elly Child Care
Department: Business Development
Reports To: CEO / Managing Director
Location: Bengaluru (Travel Required)
About the Role
The Business Head – Elly Child Care will be responsible for driving the overall business growth, operational excellence, and expansion of Elly Child Care, Learning Edge India's corporate childcare solution. The role focuses on acquiring new corporate clients, expanding the childcare business across organizations, managing existing corporate partnerships, and ensuring operational excellence across all centres.
The ideal candidate should possess strong business development, strategic planning, client relationship management, and operational leadership skills with the ability to scale the business nationally.
Key Responsibilities
Business Expansion
- Develop and execute the business expansion strategy for Elly Child Care.
- Identify and onboard new corporate clients for workplace childcare solutions.
- Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, events, and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct presentations and business proposals for HR Heads, CHROs, Admin Heads, and Corporate Leadership teams.
- Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close business deals.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Corporate Client Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing corporate clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all corporate childcare partnerships.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
- Conduct periodic business reviews with client organizations.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and expanding existing partnerships.
Revenue & Business Performance
- Prepare annual business plans and growth strategies.
- Monitor revenue, profitability, and operational KPIs.
- Analyse business performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop pricing strategies and commercial proposals.
- Ensure achievement of business growth and profitability objectives.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor Business Development teams.
- Set performance goals and monitor team productivity.
- Conduct regular reviews, coaching, and training sessions.
- Build a high-performance and customer-centric culture.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Work closely with the Marketing team to enhance brand visibility.
- Participate in corporate events, HR conclaves, exhibitions, and networking forums.
- Develop strategic partnerships to increase market presence.
- Drive digital and offline marketing initiatives for lead generation.

Qualifications
- MBA in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, or equivalent preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Certification in Sales, Business Development, or Leadership is an added advantage.
Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in Business Development, Corporate Sales, Operations, or General Management.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in education, childcare, preschool, healthcare, facility management, or corporate services will be preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving business growth and revenue targets.
