Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced L2 Infrastructure & Deployment Support Engineer to manage application deployments, production infrastructure, incident resolution, and environment support across UAT, DR, and Production environments. The role requires strong Linux administration skills, infrastructure troubleshooting capabilities, deployment coordination, Oracle connectivity knowledge, and the ability to support business-critical applications in a structured production environment.
This role involves working closely with Development, Infrastructure, Database, Network, and Support teams to ensure smooth deployments and high system availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Perform application deployments across UAT, DR, and Production environments following approved change management processes.
- Monitor infrastructure health and proactively identify system issues.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.
- Perform Oracle connectivity troubleshooting, including Listener, TNS configuration, and basic SQL validation.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues involving DNS, TCP/IP, ports, SSL, VPN, and network connectivity.
- Execute deployment validation, smoke testing, and rollback procedures when required.
- Coordinate with Development, DBA, Infrastructure, Network, and Business teams during deployments and incident resolution.
- Manage incidents and service requests through ITSM tools.
- Prepare deployment documentation, operational runbooks, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports.
- Participate in production support, scheduled maintenance windows, on-call rotations, and shift-based support.
Must-Have Skills
Candidates should have hands-on experience in most of the following:

- Oracle Database Connectivity (Listener, TNS, basic SQL)
- Networking Fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, VPN, Ports)
- Incident Management & Troubleshooting
- ITSM / Ticketing Tools (ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, Freshservice, etc.)
- Deployment Validation & Rollback Planning
- Documentation and RCA preparation
- 4+ years of relevant Infrastructure/Application Support experience
Good-to-Have Skills
- Windows Server Administration
- VMware or Nutanix
- Nginx / Apache / IIS
- Private Cloud environments
- BFSI / Core Banking application support
- Git
- Basic REST API validation
- Shell scripting or automation exposure
Preferred Candidate Profile

Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Infrastructure/Application Support.
- Comfortable working from the Bandra, Mumbai office.
- Willing to participate in shift rotations, weekend support, and planned maintenance activities.
- Strong verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Experience supporting production environments with high availability requirements.
