Job Position : Quality Civil Manager
Experience : 6 to 10 years
Location : Pune
Key Responsibilities
- Establish, implement, and periodically update project-specific QMS, including ITPs, checklists, method statements, and quality plans for RCC, Mivan, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Lead and supervise all QA/QC activities at site
- material inspection, concrete quality control, reinforcement checks, formwork/Mivan inspections, finishing benchmarks, and third-party testing coordination.
- Conduct pre-construction quality reviews of drawings and specifications, perform constructability checks, and support vendor/material pre-qualification in coordination with design, planning, and procurement.
- Coordinate and conduct joint inspections with consultants, client/PMC, and internal site teams; manage NCRs, CAPA, punch lists, and ensure timely closure of all quality observations.
- Develop, maintain, and audit QA/QC documentation including material approval records, test reports, calibration records, inspection logs, and quality dashboards; present periodic quality reports to management.
- Monitor adherence to IS codes, NBC, local building regulations, and internal quality standards; conduct internal quality audits and toolbox talks to build a strong quality culture on site.
- Work closely with planning and execution teams to identify recurring defects, analyze root causes, implement preventive actions, and track KPIs related to rework reduction and quality performance.
Essential requirements
- B.E. in Civil Engineering with 6–10 years of experience in QA/QC for building projects, including at least 3–4 years on high-rise residential towers (15+ floors)
Hands-on experience in setting up and implementing project-specific Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ITPs, checklists, and method statements for civil works
Strong knowledge of IS codes, NBC, and relevant local building regulations applicable to high-rise RCC residential projects
Experience in concrete quality control (mix design coordination, batching plant checks, cube testing, NDT), reinforcement inspection, and finishing quality benchmarks
Proven experience in coordinating with consultants, client/PMC, and internal site teams for quality inspections, NCRs, CAPA, and closure of quality observations
Ability to develop and maintain QA/QC documentation

Prior experience in pre-construction quality reviews
- drawing/specification review, constructability checks, and vendor/material pre-qualification
Willingness to work from office with regular site visits in and around Pune as required
Strong experience in High rise, Mivan & RCC work is mandatory.
Expertise in QA/QC systems, IS Codes, Audits & Quality Assurance Procedures.
Expertise in mivan, Finishing, Waterproofing & Third party testings.
Bonus qualifications
- Experience in ISO 9001 implementation or working in an ISO-certified construction environment
- Exposure to MEP quality coordination in high-rise residential projects
- Experience in establishing and monitoring KPIs for quality and rework reduction
- Prior experience with EPC contractors or large Grade-A developers in Maharashtra
- Basic exposure to digital quality management tools or mobile-based site inspection apps
