Job Responsibilities
- Perform filling and finishing work on gold and diamond jewellery after casting and manufacturing processes.
- Fill gaps, holes, joints, and uneven areas using appropriate metal and filling techniques.
- Ensure jewellery surfaces are smooth, even, and properly finished before polishing.
- Identify casting defects, porosity, cracks, and uneven surfaces and carry out necessary corrections.
- Work carefully on delicate and intricate jewellery designs without damaging the original shape.
- Use appropriate hand tools for filing, filling, shaping, and correction work.
- Coordinate with Casting, Production, Polishing, Setting, and QC teams for required corrections.
- Check completed pieces for proper shape, surface quality, and finishing.
- Maintain daily production targets while ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Keep tools and work area clean and organized.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of jewellery filling, filing, and finishing processes.
- Experience in gold/diamond jewellery manufacturing.
- Good hand skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify and correct minor manufacturing defects.
- Knowledge of jewellery casting defects will be an advantage.
- Ability to work on intricate and delicate jewellery pieces.
- Good teamwork and ability to meet production timelines.
Qualification
- 10th/12th pass or equivalent.
- Relevant jewellery manufacturing experience preferred.
Salary
₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
