Job Title: Client Relationship & Collections Executive
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive Client Accounts & Collections Executive to manage client accounts, drive payment recovery, and support inside sales activities. This role is essential for maintaining healthy cash flow, resolving billing issues, assisting with travel bookings, and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
1. Payment Recovery & Client Management
- Follow up with clients for overdue payments via calls, emails, and WhatsApp.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and coordinate with the accounts team for ledger updates, TDS adjustments, and reconciliations.
- Maintain structured records of client interactions and payment commitments.
- Ensure timely reporting of collections, pending payments, and account updates.
2. Inside Sales & Negotiation
- Handle inbound and outbound client inquiries regarding services, payments, and
products.
- Upsell or cross-sell services to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Negotiate effectively to close deals, resolve issues, and strengthen client relationships.
3. Administrative & Travel Support
- Book travel tickets (flights, trains, buses) using platforms like MMT, IRCTC, Goibibo, etc.
- Ensure accurate bookings and timely communication of itineraries.
4. Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate receivables data in Google Drive and Excel for easy tracking.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on recovery status, payments received, and
follow-ups.
- Use ZOHO or other accounting portals for invoice management, bill processing, and payment tracking.
Who We’re Looking For
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in Basic Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, filters) and Google Sheets.
- Understanding of accounting basics: TDS, reconciliations, billing, and payment processes.
- Experience with ZOHO or other accounting software.
- Familiarity with online travel booking platforms (MMT, IRCTC, Goibibo).
- Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Typing speed of minimum 30 WPM or higher.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in payment recovery, customer service, inside sales, or administrative support.
- Prior customer-facing experience, handling invoices, billing issues, and payment
reconciliation is a plus.
