Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Engineer to oversee daily manufacturing operations, improve production efficiency, and ensure smooth workflow in the production department. Candidates with experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry, especially familiarity with Mahindra standards, will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, monitor, and control daily production activities.
* Ensure production targets are achieved within specified timelines.
* Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce waste.
* Coordinate with Quality, Store, and Maintenance departments for smooth operations.
* Monitor machine utilization and production efficiency.
* Maintain production records, reports, and documentation.
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
* Analyze production issues and implement corrective actions.
* Manage manpower allocation and shop floor activities.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems is mandatory.
* Strong understanding of production planning and process improvement.
* Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to manage shop floor operations effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with Mahindra or Mahindra-approved vendors.
* Exposure to automotive manufacturing processes.
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and TPM practices.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
