Job Summary
Tansen School of Music & Dance is seeking a talented and passionate Kathak Faculty member to train students in classical dance with proper technique, expressions, rhythm, and stage performance. The candidate should inspire students while maintaining discipline and creativity in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Kathak dance classes for beginners and advanced students.
- Teach basic to advanced Kathak techniques, footwork, expressions, and choreography.
- Prepare students for stage performances, competitions, and annual day events.
- Create lesson plans and practice schedules.
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Guide students in posture, rhythm, coordination, and performance confidence.
- Coordinate with management for events, performances, and class schedules.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Professional training/certification in Kathak.
- Strong knowledge of classical dance techniques and theory.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Ability to handle students of different age groups.
Preferred Qualities
- Passion for dance and teaching.
- Creative choreography skills.
- Energetic, disciplined, and punctual personality.
- Team coordination and event management skills.
Salary
