Hiring Alert – Linux Administrator Position: Linux Administrator Experience: 5–8 Years Location: Coimbatore Budget: Up to ₹21 LPA Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Linux Administrator with strong expertise in enterprise Linux environments, server administration, troubleshooting and system maintenance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing Linux servers and ensuring high availability, security and performance. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain Linux servers and enterprise environments. Perform server configuration, administration, patching and upgrades. Implement security hardening, access controls and system policies. Monitor server health, performance, capacity and availability. Troubleshoot and resolve complex Linux and infrastructure issues. Support backup, recovery and disaster-recovery activities. Manage deployments, configuration changes and system upgrades. Troubleshoot networking, DNS and connectivity-related issues. Automate routine administration tasks using Shell/Python scripting. Maintain system documentation and operational procedures. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application and DevOps teams. Provide production support and resolve incidents within defined SLAs. Required Skills 5–8 years of experience in Linux Administration.
Strong hands-on experience with RHEL / CentOS / Ubuntu or similar Linux distributions. Strong knowledge of Linux server administration and troubleshooting. Good understanding of Linux security, users, permissions and access management. Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, DNS and connectivity troubleshooting. Understanding of backup, recovery and disaster-recovery processes. Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning. Good scripting knowledge in Shell / Bash; Python is an advantage.
