Job Purpose:
The Steward is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest dining experience by providing attentive service and ensuring cleanliness and organization in the restaurant. Stewards play a key role in assisting the service team, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the smooth running of restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive and guide them to their tables.

Assist in setting up tables, arranging utensils, and ensuring the dining area is neat and orderly.

Serve food and beverages in a professional and courteous manner.

Provide attentive service throughout the dining experience, ensuring guests' needs are met promptly.

Clear tables after guests finish dining and maintain cleanliness of the restaurant.

Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely serving of orders.

Assist with stock management, refilling supplies, and supporting other staff when required.

Follow all safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as a Steward or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

A customer service-oriented approach with a passion for hospitality.
