RCM & Medical Billing Executive – Behavioral Health

About the Role
Curio Health Private Limited is looking for an RCM & Medical Billing Executive with experience in behavioral health billing to support our U.S. healthcare operations. The ideal candidate will independently manage day-to-day revenue cycle activities, work closely with our India and U.S. teams, and help ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit and manage medical claims through clearinghouses and payer portals.
- Handle the complete claims lifecycle, including claim submission, follow-up, denial management, appeals, and payment posting.
- Resolve patient billing queries and insurance-related issues.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Ensure accurate use of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes, and modifiers for claim submission.
- Track claim status, identify billing issues, and follow up with payers to maximize collections.
- Generate basic billing, denial, and accounts receivable reports.
- Develop and maintain SOPs for billing workflows and recommend process improvements.
- Support onboarding of new payer contracts and new service lines.
- Collaborate with the India and U.S. teams to resolve billing issues and improve RCM processes.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) or U.S. medical billing.
- Experience with behavioral health billing is preferred.
- Knowledge of claim submission, denial management, insurance verification, and payer follow-up.
- Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding, and clearinghouses.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and overlap with U.S. working hours.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
