Job Opening: Middle School Social Studies Teacher (History Background) ICSE/ Cambridge
Are you passionate about history and shaping young minds? We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Studies Teacher with a strong background in History to join our ICSE/ IGCSE school in Bangalore.
Job Responsibilities:
- Teach Social Studies to secondary school students (Grades 6-10), with a focus on History.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the ICSE/ Cambridge curriculum.
- Foster critical thinking, discussion, and inquiry-based learning in the classroom.
- Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, projects, and exams.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities.
- Prepare students for MUN and TED talks
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Masters degree in History, Political Science, Social Studies, or a related field.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is preferred.
- Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in a ICSE/ Cambridge school.
- Strong command of English with excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Passionate about education and fostering a positive learning environment.
