Job Summary
SAMMS TECH SPM & AUTOMATION is looking for a proactive Material Coordinator to manage material follow-up, coordinate with internal departments and suppliers, and ensure timely availability of materials for project execution. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, follow-up, and coordination skills to support the successful completion of SPM machine projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Design, Production, Assembly, Stores, and Quality teams.
- Track purchase orders and monitor material delivery schedules.
- Ensure materials are available as per the project plan.
- Update daily material status and pending material reports.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve delivery delays and shortages.
- Maintain material tracking sheets and project progress reports.
- Support production by ensuring timely availability of required materials.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management.
- Coordinate logistics and dispatch schedules when required.
- Maintain records of purchase orders, delivery schedules, and material receipts.
- Communicate project updates and material status to the Project Manager.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
- Strong coordination and organizational abilities.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work with multiple departments and suppliers.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing and project execution.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in manufacturing, SPM machines, or industrial automation.
- Knowledge of ERP software is an added advantage.
- Understanding of purchase, inventory, and material planning processes.

Salary is negotiable based on experience and skills.
