In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of digital commerce and AI-driven search transformation programmes for Consumer Goods and Retail clients — sitting directly below the Managing Director and owning execution across complex, multi-workstream engagements. You will bring deep expertise in SEO strategy, digital commerce, and programme leadership, and apply that foundation to help clients adapt to the emerging disciplines of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and agentic commerce. As AI increasingly shapes how products are discovered, evaluated, and recommended, you will be the senior voice helping clients understand what needs to change — across content, platforms, and data — and leading the cross-functional teams that deliver it. You will also contribute to shaping Accenture's growing Commerce AI practice within the CGRT space.

Roles & Responsibilities
As part of these, you will drive and lead the following:
- Lead digital commerce transformation programmes: Own and deliver complex, multi-workstream programmes for Consumer Goods and Retail clients — spanning D2C, marketplace, and omnichannel commerce — ensuring execution excellence, delivery quality, and measurable business outcomes.
- Drive commerce performance against KPIs: Define and manage performance across commerce and search KPIs including revenue growth, conversion, digital shelf performance, brand citation frequency, and share of voice in generative AI results.
- Own GEO & AEO strategy for CGRT clients: Lead development of strategies that help Consumer Goods and Retail clients adapt to AI-driven discovery — drawing on deep SEO expertise while advancing a working knowledge of GEO, AEO, and agentic search to deliver strategies that are executable today and scalable as the discipline matures.
- Improve AI discoverability at scale: Oversee initiatives that improve how client products and brands are surfaced, cited, and recommended across generative AI platforms — spanning content strategy, technical SEO, digital shelf optimization, and brand entity alignment.
- Advise senior client stakeholders: Serve as a trusted advisor to client commerce and marketing leaders — translating complex, fast-evolving AI search dynamics into clear, commercially grounded recommendations that shape strategy and investment decisions.
- Lead cross-functional teams: Manage large, multi-disciplinary teams across strategy, content, technology, and analytics — ensuring team development, delivery quality, and alignment across all workstreams and geographies.
- Contribute to business development: Lead proposals, solutioning, and thought leadership — helping grow Accenture's Commerce AI practice and GEO capabilities within the Consumer Goods and Retail space.
- Build practice capability: Shape the evolution of GN SONG's Commerce AI capability at the intersection of AI and CGRT — contributing to POVs, internal toolkits, and service offerings as the discipline matures.
Professional & Technical Skills
- Proven ability to lead complex digital transformation programmes in Consumer Goods and Retail with a track record of delivering measurable commercial outcomes.
- Deep expertise in SEO strategy and digital commerce performance management — including D2C, marketplace, digital shelf, and content operations — with a developing or working knowledge of GEO, AEO, and agentic commerce.
- Experience managing large cross-functional teams across consulting, technology, and creative disciplines.
- Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills — ability to advise and influence CMO, CDO, and senior commerce leaders on complex and rapidly evolving topics.
- Ability to shape strategic roadmaps and translate them into executable delivery plans in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
- Experience contributing to business development including proposals, solutioning, and thought leadership in digital commerce or AI-adjacent practices.
- Familiarity with AI search and GEO measurement platforms (e.g., Profound, PromptWatch) and enterprise SEO and commerce tools.
Additional Information
- MBA/PGDM from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institution; Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10–12 years of total experience, with at least 7–8 years in SEO strategy, digital commerce, or commerce consulting within Consumer Goods and Retail.
- Exposure to GEO, AEO, or agentic search is strongly preferred — candidates are not expected to have built full GEO programmes but should demonstrate clear understanding and appetite to lead in this space.
- Proven experience leading multi-workstream programmes and managing cross-functional teams across geographies is essential.
- Experience contributing to business development and thought leadership is required at this level.
- This role requires alignment to the US market; English proficiency is essential.
