Summary
The Placement Manager is responsible for developing employment opportunities for students who have successfully completed their On-the-Job Training (OJT) in Mobile Phone and Laptop Repair & Service Technology. The role focuses on building partnerships with mobile phone and laptop service centers, authorized service providers, electronics retailers, and IT support companies across the UAE to ensure successful student placements and career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain partnerships with mobile phone, laptop, and electronics service centers across the UAE.
- Identify employment opportunities for graduates in repair, technical support, and customer service roles.
- Coordinate interviews, recruitment drives, and employer visits.
- Prepare students for interviews by assisting with resumes and communication skills.
- Match students with suitable employers based on their skills and performance.
- Maintain employer, vacancy, student, and placement databases.
- Conduct post-placement follow-ups to ensure successful employment.
- Organize job fairs, employer presentations, and networking events.
- Work with trainers to improve student employability and industry readiness.
- Establish hiring partnerships and internship opportunities.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual placement reports.
- Achieve placement targets and maintain employer relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in placement, recruitment, corporate relations, or business development.
- Experience in the mobile phone, laptop, electronics, or technical service industry is preferred.
- UAE driving license is an advantage.
