Job Description:
Amic Forgings Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Plano Miller Machine Operator for our unit located in Sherophuli. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Plano Milling Machines, DRO (Digital ReadOut) systems, and be familiar with work code/job card processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor Plano Milling Machine for heavy machining work.
- Set up workpieces and fixtures as per job specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and job work codes accurately.
- Operate DRO systems for precision alignment and measurement.
- Perform in-process and final quality checks using standard measuring instruments.
- Conduct basic maintenance and ensure machine functionality.
- Record daily production data and update job card/work code status.
- Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in Plano Milling operations.
- Skills Required:
- Proficient in using DRO systems.
- Understanding of work code/job card tracking.
- Ability to read and work from mechanical drawings.
- Skilled in handling measuring tools (vernier, micrometer, etc.).
