Job description:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Q.S.& Billing Engineer to manage project billing, quantity estimation, and cost analysis for Railway and Road highway construction projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in civil construction, with additional experience in execution being a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify interim and final bills for client and subcontractors as per contract terms.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and ensure accuracy in quantity estimation.
- Coordinate with the site execution team for daily progress and measurement records.
- Check and certify subcontractor bills, ensuring compliance with work orders and agreements.
- Assist in cost estimation, rate analysis, and project budgeting.
- Maintain proper documentation of measurements, drawings, and contract correspondences.
- Liaise with the client’s billing and accounts departments for timely submission and certification of bills.
- Support the project team in change order / variation claim preparation.
- Monitor cost control and assist in identifying areas of cost optimization.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or B.E./ B.Tech Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction/infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of DPR,DMR, Cost Management and Hand -on experience in railway infrastructure projects (earthwork, bridges, track works, etc.).
- Proficiency in BOQ Preparation ,Quantity Estimation , Billing,AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Project.
- Good communication and coordination abilities with site and client teams
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
