Job Summary
A Pest Control Technician is responsible for inspecting residential, commercial, and industrial premises to identify pest infestations and implementing effective pest management solutions. The technician ensures services are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards, environmental regulations, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections to identify pest infestations and determine appropriate treatment methods.
- Perform pest control treatments for insects, rodents, termites, mosquitoes, and other pests using approved chemicals and equipment.
- Apply pesticides, baits, traps, and other control measures in accordance with safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
- Prepare treatment plans based on inspection findings.
- Maintain accurate service reports, treatment records, and customer documentation.
- Educate customers on preventive measures to minimize future pest infestations.
- Inspect and maintain pest control equipment, tools, and PPE.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Respond promptly to customer complaints and follow-up service requests.
- Maintain cleanliness of service vehicles and equipment.
- Coordinate with supervisors regarding service schedules and inventory requirements.
- Report any safety hazards, incidents, or unusual pest activity.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / ITI / Equivalent qualification.
- Certification or license in Pest Control (as per local regulatory requirements) is preferred.
- Valid driving license (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of pest biology, pest management techniques, and pesticide handling.

- Ability to work independently and manage daily service schedules.

Safety Responsibilities
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during all pest control activities.
- Follow all chemical handling, storage, and disposal procedures.
- Comply with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and environmental regulations.
- Report accidents, spills, or unsafe conditions immediately.
Working Conditions
- Frequent travel to customer sites.
- Work may involve indoor and outdoor environments.
- Exposure to chemicals, dust, heat, and varying weather conditions.
- May require weekend, evening, or emergency service calls.
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timely completion of scheduled services.
- Customer satisfaction and complaint resolution.
- Compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Accurate documentation and reporting.
- Reduction in repeat pest infestations.
- Proper use and maintenance of equipment and chemicals.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
