JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Junior Quality Control Executive
Location: Bhiwandi Warehouse, Maharashtra
Department: Warehouse & Operations
Reporting To: Warehouse Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspection of Buckaroo footwear received from factories and vendors.
- Check products for defects related to stitching, sole bonding, finishing, material quality, branding, sizing, color consistency, and overall appearance.
- Perform quality checks on footwear before dispatch to distributors, retailers, and customers.
- Ensure defective, damaged, or non-conforming products are identified and segregated.
- Verify product quantity, size, color, and packaging accuracy during inward and outward movements.
- Maintain records of rejected, damaged, and returned footwear.
- Inspect returned products and identify reasons for quality issues or customer returns.
- Assist in conducting random quality audits of warehouse inventory.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper handling and storage of products.
- Prepare daily quality inspection reports and maintain quality-related documentation.
- Report recurring quality concerns and support corrective action implementation.
- Assist during stock audits, inventory verification, and warehouse operational activities as required.
- Follow company quality standards, warehouse procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the quality inspection area.
Skills & Competencies
- Good attention to detail and observation skills.
- Basic understanding of product quality inspection.
- Ability to identify visible product defects and discrepancies.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and record maintenance.
- Responsible, disciplined, and process-oriented approach.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualification & Experience
- HSC / Graduate.
- 0–2 years of experience in Quality Control, Warehouse Operations, Inventory, or a similar role.
- Freshers with a willingness to learn may also apply.
- Experience in footwear, apparel, retail, or warehouse operations will be an added advantage.
Compensation
- Salary: Around ₹15,000 per month, depending on experience, current compensation, and suitability for the role.
Immediate Joiners Preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
