Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic, target-driven, and student-focused Tele Counselors / Admission Counselors to join our Kolkata team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for counseling prospective students, understanding their career aspirations, explaining our courses, and converting inquiries into admissions through effective communication and regular follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students regarding SkillCircle's courses and career opportunities.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, WhatsApp, and email inquiries.
- Understand students' career goals and recommend suitable training programs.
- Convert inquiries into admissions through effective counseling and relationship building.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective students to maximize conversions.
- Explain course curriculum, fees, duration, certifications, and placement assistance.
- Handle student objections professionally and provide appropriate solutions.
- Encourage interested candidates to visit the center or complete the admission process.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, follow-ups, and admissions in the CRM system.
- Coordinate with the marketing and sales teams to ensure smooth lead management.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly calling, counseling, and admission targets.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Tele Counseling, Admission Counseling, Education Counseling, Telesales, or a similar sales/customer-facing role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in Bengali is mandatory. Proficiency in Hindi and/or English will be an added advantage.
- Strong persuasion, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
- Experience with CRM software and basic computer applications.
- High-volume calling and follow-up experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the EdTech industry, Digital Marketing, or Data Science courses will be an added advantage.
