Job Title F5 and Security Tool Administrator
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced F5 Administrator to manage and maintain our F5 infrastructure including BIGIP BIGIQ and F5 Distributed Cloud XC platforms The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application delivery security policy management and advanced traffic protection features such as Bot Defense and DDoS mitigation
Key Responsibilities
Administration Maintenance
oConfigure deploy and maintain F5 BIGIP and BIGIQ services
oManage F5 Distributed Cloud XC components for global application delivery and security
oPerform regular updates patches and upgrades to ensure system stability and compliance
Security Policy Management
oCreate update and maintain security policies including WAF Web Application Firewall configurations
oImplement and tune bot profiles to mitigate automated threats
oConfigure and monitor DDoS protection across F5 platforms
Monitoring Troubleshooting
oMonitor system health performance and security s
oTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to traffic management SSLTLS and application availability
oProvide root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
Documentation Compliance
oMaintain detailed documentation of configurations policies and operational procedures
oEnsure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements
Required Skills Qualifications
Technical Expertise
oHandson experience with F5 BIGIP modules LTM ASM AFM DNS APM
oExperience with advanced features such as IP Intelligence
oFamiliarity with BIGIQ for centralized management and analytics
oKnowledge of F5 Distributed Cloud XC services and architecture
oStrong understanding of networking protocols TCPIP HTTPHTTPS DNS SSLTLS
Security Focus
oExperience configuring WAF policies Bot Defense and DDoS mitigation
oUnderstanding of OWASP Top 10 and application security best practices
Other Requirements
oScripting skills Python Bash or iRules for automation and customization
oExcellent problemsolving and communication skills
oAbility to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
F5 Certified Technology Specialist CTS or F5 Certified Solution Expert CSE
Experience with cloud integrations AWS Azure GCP and APIbased automation
Experience in administering Application Security and CNAPP tools VeracodeSonarQubeWiz
Skills
Mandatory Skills : F5 Load Balancer, SSE - Zscaler (ZPA, ZIA)
