Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and client-focused Business Analyst with 5–8 years of experience in software development projects. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, experience handling multiple projects simultaneously, and the ability to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into clear technical documentation. Since you'll be working directly with US-based clients, excellent spoken and written English and flexibility to work night shifts are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct requirement gathering sessions, discovery workshops, and client meetings with US-based stakeholders.
Analyze business needs and translate them into detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flows, and Acceptance Criteria.
Act as the primary liaison between clients, developers, QA teams, UI/UX designers, and project managers.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and effective communication.
Lead project discussions, sprint planning sessions, requirement clarification meetings, and client demos.
Work closely with Product Owners and Technical Leads to define project scope, priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
Track project progress using Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, ClickUp, or similar project management tools.
Create wireframes, workflows, process diagrams, and business flow documentation using Figma, Lucidchart, Draw.io, Visio, or Miro.
Collaborate with QA teams during UAT, validate delivered features, and ensure business requirements are met.
Prepare meeting agendas, MOMs (Minutes of Meeting), project documentation, status reports, and presentations.
Identify project risks, manage change requests, and ensure smooth communication between all stakeholders.
Support pre-sales discussions, solution demonstrations, and client presentations whenever required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development or IT services.
Proven experience managing multiple software projects simultaneously.
Excellent spoken and written English with strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working directly with international, preferably US-based, clients.
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello, ClickUp, or similar collaboration tools.
Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, UML diagrams, and functional specifications.
Familiarity with REST APIs, SaaS platforms, web applications, and AI-based software products.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
Experience working on AI, Generative AI, SaaS, or enterprise software projects.
Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Miro, Lucidchart, Draw.io, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Basic understanding of SQL, APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and software testing concepts.
Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot is an advantage.
Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Scrum Product Owner is a plus.
