Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced TGT Mathematics & Social Science Teacher to teach students of Grades VI–X. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to make learning engaging, interactive, and student-centered. The teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Mathematics, History, Geography, Civics, and Economics while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics and Social Science to Classes VI–X as per curriculum requirements.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, and assessments.
- Develop students' conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Conduct regular assessments, evaluations, and maintain academic records.
- Use smart boards, digital tools, activity-based learning, and experiential teaching methods.
- Provide remedial support for struggling learners and enrichment opportunities for advanced students.
- Prepare students for examinations, competitions, and academic events.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in school events, assemblies, parent-teacher meetings, and staff meetings.
- Collaborate with academic coordinators and fellow teachers to enhance student outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Mathematics, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or related field.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE school preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in English and educational technology tools.
