We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience in tower cranes, passenger hoists, and construction equipment. The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting abilities, knowledge of electrical systems used in heavy machinery, and the ability to carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance at project sites.
Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems in tower cranes, passenger hoists, and other construction equipment.
Diagnose issues related to wiring, control panels, motors, PLCs, limit switches, and safety circuits.
Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of tower cranes and related equipment at sites.
Ensure proper configuration, calibration, and safety compliance during equipment setup.
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential electrical issues or safety hazards.
Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards, company guidelines, and statutory requirements.
Maintain documentation for inspections, breakdowns, and maintenance activities.
Coordinate with site teams, operators, and project engineers to resolve equipment-related issues.
Liaise with OEMs and vendors for technical support, spare parts, and warranty-related matters.
Support the procurement team by identifying required electrical spares and consumables.
Maintain service logs, maintenance reports, and breakdown records.
Prepare daily/weekly equipment status updates for management.
Document electrical diagrams, modifications, and improvements implemented.
Diploma / BE in Electrical Engineering.
3–5 years of experience working with tower cranes, passenger hoists, or heavy construction machinery.
Strong understanding of electrical control systems, panel wiring, motors, PLC-based systems, and safety circuits.
Experience in troubleshooting VFDs, contactors, overload relays, and crane control components.
Good knowledge of preventive & breakdown maintenance practices.
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to work at project sites.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
