Key Responsibilities
1. Requirements Gathering & Solution Design
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document warehouse and logistics requirements.
- Analyze existing processes and design optimized solutions.
- Prepare functional and technical specifications aligned with business needs.
2. System Configuration
- Configure and customize SAP EWM settings, including:
- Warehouse structure
- Storage types and bins
- Picking and put-away strategies
- Inventory management processes
3. Integration Management
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP EWM and other SAP modules such as SD, MM, and PP.
- Manage data flow and integration with external systems like MES and WES.
4. Testing & Support
- Perform unit testing and support integration testing cycles.
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve defects.
- Provide ongoing system support and troubleshooting.
5. Deployment & Go-Live Support
- Support data migration activities.
- Assist during go-live and post-go-live phases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical system issues.
6. Training & Documentation
- Prepare user manuals, SOPs, and process documentation.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in SAP EWM implementation and support.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM is preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes, including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping.
