We are seeking an execution-focused Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our fast-paced Engineering group. This is a 100% hands-on role requiring dual proficiency. You will maintain and optimize our existing serverless ecosystem (React, Node.js, AWS Lambda) while directly participating in our active transition to a high-velocity full-stack Python and Django architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver & Optimize Serverless Logic Maintain, write, and safely scale event-driven, backend micro-services using Node.js deployed within AWS Lambda. Build Responsive Frontend Assets Construct web application layers using React, ensuring smooth interactive states and clean connection pathways to downstream rest APIs.
Maintain Stateless State Separation Ensure application nodes can scale completely stateless by externalizing user sessions, data caches, and async background routing queues out of local server nodes and dropping them into Redis memory instances.
Automate Quality & Test Coverage Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure total functional reliability. Enforce quality baselines locally and within GitHub Actions pipelines through automated tools like Black or Ruff.
Required Technical Experience & Qualifications Overall Experience 5 to 8 years of professional software engineering history building high-traffic, transactional web applications.
Node.js & Serverless Systems A minimum of 3 years of deep, hands-on experience building backends in Node.js, with specific runtime execution exposure deploying inside AWS Lambda.
React Web Architecture Solid, demonstrable history building state-driven user interfaces in React using modern state management patterns. Python & Django Proficiency At least 1 year of active, production-grade programming exposure inside Python and the Django framework ecosystem. You must possess a crisp operational understanding of Django's core ORM structure. Database & Caching Skills Experience with relational database backends (PostgreSQL preferred) paired with external memory-based state tracking engines (Redis). DevOps Foundation Daily comfort utilizing Docker containers locally for testing, alongside standard code control workflows via Git.
