Have you ever thought about what it takes to protect hundreds of millions of Amazon customers from having their accounts compromised? At Amazon's Account Integrity Team (AIT), we are on the front lines of detecting and preventing Account Takeover (ATO), one of the most sophisticated and evolving threats in e-commerce fraud.
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Buyer Risk Prevention (BRP) team, specifically focused on the ATO charter. In this role, you will own the analytical backbone of our ATO detection and prevention programs — from building enforcement metrics to evaluating the effectiveness of rule-based and ML-driven interventions across millions of sign-in events globally.
In this role, you will be the analytical authority for performance measurement and program insights. You will work closely with Science, Tech, Product, and Operations teams to translate complex fraud signals into actionable strategies.
Key job responsibilities
- You will own end-to-end metrics, building and maintaining dashboards that track critical performance indicators across global marketplaces.
- You will analyze sign-in event data at scale to identify emerging threat patterns and gaps in current enforcement coverage.
- You will evaluate the performance of enforcement outputs to drive optimization recommendations and build and maintain Weekly Business Review (WBR) and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) reports for senior leadership, synthesizing trends and experiment outcomes.
- You will design and analyze A/B experiments (treatment vs. control) to measure the impact of new enforcement strategies and partner with the Science team to evaluate model performance.
- You will develop scalable SQL-based data pipelines and dashboards to support ongoing monitoring of enforcement health and rule effectiveness, and translate analytical findings into clear business recommendations for stakeholders, including PMs, SDEs, and senior leadership.
