We are looking for a skilled Estimation & Purchase Engineer to handle project cost estimation, vendor sourcing, and material procurement for our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Estimation & Costing
o Study tender drawings and BOQs to prepare accurate quantity take-offs.
o Prepare rate analysis and project cost estimates for civil, finishing, and MEP works.
o Submit techno-commercial offers and revise estimates based on client/site inputs.
o Track budget vs. actual costs and report deviations to management
Purchase & Procurement
o Float enquiries, obtain quotations, and prepare vendor comparison statements.
o Negotiate rates, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
o Issue Purchase Orders after approval and ensure timely material delivery to site.
o Coordinate with site team to plan material procurement as per project schedule.
Vendor & Inventory Management
o Maintain records of estimates, POs, invoices, DCs, and vendor agreements.
o Issue Purchase Orders after approval and ensure timely material delivery to site
Documentation & Compliance
o Coordinate with Accounts for vendor payments and reconciliation.
o Support audit and project close-out with complete procurement documentation.
Education: B.E. / B. Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil with relevant experience.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in estimation and procurement in a construction/contracting company.
Technical Skills: AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project. Knowledge of CPWD/DSR rates
Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, vendor management, analytical, and communication skills.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
