Job Summary
The Recovery Executive is responsible for managing outstanding receivables and ensuring timely collection of payments from residents and their families. The role requires strong financial knowledge, excellent communication skills, empathy while dealing with senior citizens and their families, and the ability to maintain healthy customer relationships while achieving collection targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage resident accounts receivable and outstanding payments.
- Follow up with residents, family members, and authorized representatives for timely collection of dues through calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships while handling sensitive financial discussions with senior citizens and their families.
- Generate and reconcile invoices, receipts, account statements, and outstanding reports.
- Coordinate with the Admissions, Operations, Resident Property Managers, and Finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate collection records and update the ERP/Finance system regularly.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on collections, outstanding balances, ageing analysis, and recovery status.
- Negotiate payment schedules, wherever approved, and ensure adherence to agreed timelines.
- Escalate long-pending or disputed accounts to management with appropriate recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Assist the Finance team with audits, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Additional certification in Finance or Accounting is an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in Collections, Accounts Receivable, Recovery, or Finance.
- Experience working in Senior Living, Hospitals, Hospitality, Healthcare, or Retirement Communities is highly preferred.
- Prior experience interacting with senior citizens and their families regarding billing and collections is mandatory.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
