Project Engineer
Experience: 6–8 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor civil/infrastructure works as per approved drawings, BOQ, specifications, and project schedule.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and site teams for smooth execution.
- Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure works are completed as per approved drawings and quality standards.
- Review drawings, BOQ, specifications, and identify discrepancies or technical issues before execution.
- Prepare daily/weekly work plans and monitor progress against the approved project schedule.
- Ensure proper deployment and utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and other resources.
- Monitor quantities executed and coordinate with the billing team for measurements and RA bills.
- Verify subcontractor measurements and work completion before certification.
- Coordinate material requirements and ensure timely availability at site.
- Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with approved method statements and ITPs.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections, testing, and quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements and coordinate with the EHS team.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site records, measurements, material records, and other project documentation.
- Identify site constraints, delays, and resource requirements and report them to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate with surveyors for levels, setting out, alignment, and execution requirements.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and systematic management of the work area.
- Support the Project Manager in achieving project targets within the approved cost and timeline.
Preferred Skills
- Good knowledge of civil/infrastructure construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOQs.
- Knowledge of quantity estimation and measurements.
- Good coordination and team-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic construction/project reporting.
- Experience in roads, drainage, utilities, PHE, infrastructure, or residential development works will be preferred.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
