Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Science & relevant certifications (Business Analysis, ITIL, Trade Finance) are an added advantage.
We are looking for an experienced L2 Production Support professional with a strong background in Trade Finance systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide Level 2 support for production issues, act as a bridge between business users and IT teams, and ensure the smooth operation of business applications.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Production Support (L2)
- Provide Level 2 support for production issues related to business applications.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents escalated from Level 1 support within defined SLAs.
- Monitor application health and proactively identify potential issues.
- Incident & Problem Management
- Manage incidents, service requests, and problems using JIRA.
- Ensure accurate logging, tracking, prioritization, and closure of tickets.
- Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and vendor teams for issue resolution.
- Participate in major incident calls and post-incident reviews.
- Data Analysis & SQL
- Execute SQL queries to analyze data, validate transactions, and support issue investigation.
- Identify data discrepancies and work with technical teams to resolve them.
- Support reconciliation and reporting activities where required.
- Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a bridge between business users and IT teams.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders on issue status, impact, and resolution timelines.
- Support UAT, regression testing, and production releases as needed.
- Trade Finance Domain Support
- Provide application support for Trade Finance systems covering areas such as:
Letters of Credit (LC)
Bank Guarantees (BG)
Documentary Collections
Trade Loans and related workflows
- Understand end-to-end trade lifecycle and payment flows.
- Support compliance with trade rules (e.g., UCP, ISBP – basic understanding preferred).
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong experience in Production Application Support (L2).
- Hands-on experience with JIRA for incident and ticket management.
- Good working knowledge of SQL (writing and executing queries).
- Solid Trade Finance domain knowledge.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred Skills
- Experience working in banking or financial services environments.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
- Exposure to core banking or trade finance platforms.
- Experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability systems.
