To provide theoretical and practical training to candidates in warehouse operations, inventory management, material handling, documentation, safety, and warehouse management systems, in line with industry requirements and the prescribed training curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct theory and practical training for Warehouse Executive candidates.
- Train candidates on warehouse receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and material handling processes.
- Explain inventory management, stock verification, cycle counting, and reconciliation.
- Provide practical knowledge of GRN, stock records, invoices, delivery challans, and other warehouse documents.
- Train candidates in proper storage practices, material identification, bin management, and warehouse layout.
- Provide knowledge of FIFO/FEFO and inventory control practices.
- Train candidates on the use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP, barcode scanners, and basic computer applications.
- Explain material-handling equipment and safe operating practices.
- Train candidates on warehouse safety, PPE, fire safety, housekeeping, and 5S.
- Conduct practical demonstrations, assignments, mock activities, and assessments.
- Monitor trainee attendance, performance, and learning progress.
- Maintain training records, assessment records, and other required documentation.
- Identify trainees' learning gaps and provide additional support where required.
- Prepare candidates for employment by developing their workplace communication and professional skills.
- Coordinate with the Center Head and project team for batch planning, assessments, and placement activities.

Educational Qualification
- Graduate/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
- Relevant vocational/ITI qualification may also be considered as per the applicable Qualification Pack (QP) and trainer eligibility criteria.
Experience
- Relevant industry experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Prior experience as a trainer/instructor in vocational or skill-development programs will be an advantage.
- Trainer certification/eligibility should be verified against the latest applicable QP requirements.
