We, Calcutta Institute of Technology (CIT), situated at Banitabla, Uluberia, Howrah – 711316, are currently hiring an Industrial Plumber for our college campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, sanitary fixtures, and plumbing equipment across the campus.
- Attend to plumbing complaints and carry out routine maintenance of pipelines, taps, valves, toilets, washbasins, and water tanks.
- Identify and rectify leakages, blockages, and other plumbing faults.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of pumps, pipelines, and water distribution systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and water wastage.
- Follow safety procedures while carrying out plumbing work.
- Maintain records of repairs, maintenance activities, and material usage.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for plumbing-related works and emergencies.
Eligibility:
- ITI Plumber or equivalent vocational qualification preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, fittings, pipes, valves, pumps, and sanitary installations.
- Ability to use plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in plumbing maintenance preferred.
Preference:
- Candidates residing in or near Uluberia, Howrah will be preferred.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
