Position: Gujarati Teacher

Location: Mauryan High School, Vadodara, Gujarat
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹15,000–₹20,000 per month
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated Gujarati Teacher who can effectively teach the Gujarati language and literature to students. The ideal candidate should have excellent command of Gujarati, strong communication skills, and the ability to make language learning engaging and meaningful.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Gujarati lessons as per the school curriculum.
- Teach Gujarati grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, comprehension, and literature.
- Develop students’ speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills.
- Use stories, poems, activities, discussions, and creative teaching methods to make lessons interesting.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, and classroom activities.
- Conduct regular tests, assessments, and examinations to evaluate student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ academic performance.
- Provide additional support and remedial teaching to students who require assistance.
- Encourage students to appreciate Gujarati language, literature, culture, and heritage.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate with parents regarding students’ academic progress when required.
- Participate in school assemblies, celebrations, cultural programs, and co-curricular activities.
- Collaborate with other teachers and the academic team.
- Follow the school’s curriculum, policies, and academic standards.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Gujarati or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Prior teaching experience in a school environment will be an advantage.
- Excellent command of spoken and written Gujarati.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to engage students through activity-based and creative teaching methods.
- Basic knowledge of digital teaching tools is preferred.
