We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Senior Executive – Payroll & Accounts to manage end-to-end payroll processing and statutory compliance for Indian operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in payroll administration, statutory filings, payroll accounting, employee query management, and reconciliation activities. Exposure to General Ledger (GL) accounting will be an added advantage.

Execute end-to-end monthly payroll processing in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Process payroll inputs including attendance, leave records, reimbursements, incentives, bonuses, arrears, deductions, and Full & Final settlements.

Validate payroll data accuracy prior to salary disbursement.

Perform payroll reconciliations and month-on-month variance analysis.

Ensure compliance with EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax (PT), TDS, and other statutory regulations.

Prepare and maintain statutory challans, returns, and compliance documentation.

Coordinate with consultants and vendors for statutory submissions and audits.

Monitor statutory timelines and maintain compliance trackers.

Pass payroll-related journal entries in ERP/accounting systems.

Prepare payroll reconciliation statements and employee cost reports.

Support General Ledger (GL) reconciliations related to payroll expenses, provisions, and employee benefits.

Coordinate with the Finance & Accounts team during month-end closing activities.

Assist in payroll cost allocation and departmental cost analysis.

Support employee tax declarations, tax computations, and investment proof validations.

Ensure accurate payroll tax calculations through payroll systems.

Resolve employee payroll-related queries promptly and professionally.

Provide payroll-related support during audits and verification processes.

Manage payroll processing through HRMS/payroll software.

Maintain employee payroll records, salary revisions, and statutory information.

Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and accuracy of payroll data.

Generate MIS reports, payroll summaries, and management reports as required.

Strong understanding of Indian payroll processing and statutory compliance.

Working knowledge of EPF, ESIC, PT, TDS, and payroll filing procedures.

Familiarity with payroll software and payroll tax computation processes.

Strong analytical and numerical abilities.

2–4 years of relevant experience in payroll processing, preferably within small to medium-sized organizations.

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

Experience in payroll accounting entries and reconciliations.

Knowledge of General Ledger (GL) accounting is an added advantage.

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and HRMS/Payroll systems.
