Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Principal Software Engineer (Salesforce) to lead technical solution design, architecture, implementation strategy, and engineering best practices for enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, mentoring capabilities, and the ability to drive complex global implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations and technical initiatives
Define scalable technical architecture and implementation strategies for Salesforce solutions
Design and develop advanced Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, APIs, and integration frameworks
Drive application performance optimization, scalability, security, and governance best practices
Lead integration architecture, automation strategy, and complex data transformation solutions
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and engineering teams to define technical roadmaps
Provide technical leadership during solution design, prototyping, testing, deployment, and production support
Establish coding standards, review code quality, and enforce engineering best practices
Mentor and guide junior and senior developers, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing
Lead Agile delivery practices including requirement analysis, story refinement, estimation, sprint planning, and technical execution
Ensure compliance with SOX, security standards, IT controls, and enterprise change management processes
Create and maintain architecture documents, technical design specifications, and operational support procedures
Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues while driving continuous improvement initiatives
Communicate technical strategies, risks, and solutions effectively to executive and global stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications
7+ years of Salesforce consulting or implementation experience
5+ years of advanced hands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, LWC, and Visualforce
Proven experience designing enterprise-scale Salesforce architectures and integration solutions
Strong expertise in APIs, middleware, automation frameworks, and data integration patterns
Experience leading Agile delivery teams and mentoring developers
Strong understanding of application scalability, security, governance, and release management
Excellent analytical, debugging, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to lead multiple initiatives in a fast-paced global environment
Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer, Application Architect, or System Architect are preferred
