Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP PP & QM Consultant with 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM). The ideal candidate should have experience in end-to-end SAP implementation, support, rollout, and enhancement projects, with strong knowledge of manufacturing and quality management business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PP & QM solutions.
- Configure and support SAP PP processes, including Material Master, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Production Versions, MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning, and Shop Floor Control.
- Configure and support SAP QM processes, including Inspection Planning, Inspection Types, Quality Notifications, Audit Management, and Vendor Quality Management.
- Work on end-to-end implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
- Perform system configuration, testing, documentation, and user training.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including MM, SD, PM, EWM, and FI/CO, for integrated business solutions.
- Analyze and resolve production and quality-related SAP issues within defined SLAs.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with the technical team for custom developments.
- Support data migration, cutover activities, and go-live support.
- Participate in change requests, process improvements, and system optimization initiatives.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP PP & QM configuration experience.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing and quality management business processes.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA (preferred).
- Good understanding of integration with MM, SD, PM, PS and FI/CO.
- Experience in writing Functional Specifications (FS) and coordinating with ABAP developers.
- Knowledge of interfaces, IDocs, batch management, and engineering change management is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in incident management, root cause analysis, and user support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- SAP PP and/or QM Certification is preferred.
- Experience in Cement / Manufacturing preferred.
Preferred Project Experience
- Minimum one end-to-end SAP implementation project.
- Experience in support, rollout, and enhancement projects.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA migration projects is desirable.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
