Designation: MEP Site Engineer
Job Description:
- Should be able to read and interpret MEP drawings
- Must ensure all MEP works are carried out in accordance with safety and compliance standards
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for MEP materials and execution
- Should be able to prepare BOQs and verify contractor bills
- Responsible for quality checks of installations on-site
- Must be capable of resolving site-level issues related to MEP services
- Ensure timely completion of work in line with project milestones
- Should be available for site work beyond normal hours, if required
- Must ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of MEP activities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervision and execution of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works at site
- Coordination with civil and architectural teams for MEP-related activities
- Monitoring installation of HVAC, fire-fighting systems, electrical panels, plumbing, etc.
- Review of MEP drawings and ensuring work as per approved design
- Preparing daily progress reports and site updates
- Material planning and ensuring timely availability at site
- Ensuring work completion as per project timeline and quality standards
- Reporting to Project Manager / MEP Manager
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Site coordination and supervision skills
- Knowledge of safety practices and quality control
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution on-site
- AutoCAD / Revit (basic level) preferred
- Good communication and leadership
Educational Qualification:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical (with relevant experience)
- 3 to 5 years in MEP site execution and coordination
- Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial projects preferred
