Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Modeling: Interpret complex datasets, analyze trends, and perform exploratory data analysis to identify risks, efficiencies, and growth opportunities.
- Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain interactive automated dashboards and data visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present comprehensive weekly/monthly performance reports, translating technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Data Integrity & Maintenance: Clean, transform, and validate raw data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and absolute data integrity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with product, marketing, operations, and engineering teams to align data extraction strategies with daily business needs.
- Process Automation: Identify opportunities to optimize existing reporting workflows and automate manual data processes to scale analytics efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Database Querying: Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying, joining, and manipulating large datasets across relational databases.
- Data Visualization: Strong experience with industry-standard BI tools, specifically Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Statistical Analysis: Solid understanding of statistical concepts (regression analysis, hypothesis testing, data distributions) and tools like Python (Pandas/NumPy) or R.
- Spreadsheet Mastery: Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Index/Match, Pivot Tables, and macros).
- Analytical Thinking: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proven ability to ask the right questions and spot anomalies in data.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or Amazon Redshift.
- Basic understanding of predictive modeling, machine learning concepts, or statistical forecasting.
- Experience writing automation scripts using Python or Google Apps Script.
