The Senior Program Manager will act as a strategic leader responsible for planning, executing, and delivering multiple high-impact programs aligned with organizational objectives. This role requires strong cross-functional leadership, governance, stakeholder management, and execution excellence across complex initiatives. The ideal candidate is a certified PMP professional with extensive experience in program governance, risk management, budgeting, and driving business outcomes through structured program delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Strategy & Governance

Define and implement program governance frameworks aligned with business strategy.
Collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize programs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Establish program roadmaps, milestones, KPIs, and success metrics.
Ensure adherence to PMP-based project and program management methodologies.

2. Program Planning & Execution

Lead end-to-end program lifecycle from initiation to closure across multiple concurrent projects.
Develop detailed program plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
Monitor program progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
Ensure delivery within scope, time, cost, and quality parameters.

3. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership

Work closely with department heads, technical teams, operations, and external partners to ensure seamless execution.
Act as the primary escalation point for program-related issues.
Drive alignment across teams and resolve interdependencies between projects.

4. Risk, Compliance & Quality Management

Establish risk management frameworks and proactively manage program risks.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
Conduct periodic program audits and reviews for continuous improvement.

5. Budgeting & Resource Management

Own program budgets and financial tracking.
Optimize resource utilization across projects and teams.
Forecast program financials and report variances to leadership.

6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Track program KPIs and present dashboards and reports to senior management.
Use data-driven insights for decision-making and program optimization.
Maintain transparency in reporting program health, risks, and achievements.

7. Change Management & Continuous Improvement

Lead change initiatives associated with new programs or transformation efforts.
Implement best practices and lessons learned across programs.
Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification – Mandatory
MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.

Experience

10+ years of experience in project/program management.
5+ years in a leadership role managing large-scale, cross-functional programs.
Experience in fast-paced, growth-oriented organizations.

Skills

Deep knowledge of PMP frameworks, program governance, and delivery models.
Strong risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills.
Expertise in program metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
