Merchandiser Executive
Location: Malad West, Mumbai (Work from Office)
Timing: Monday to Saturday,10:00 AM – 7:30 PM (includes 1-hour break)
Experience: 1–3 years (freshers with strong merchandising internships may apply)
Role Overview
As Merchandiser, you will own the journey of a product from concept to dispatch — planning, sourcing, and managing product lines so the right products are developed and delivered at the right time, quality, and cost. You'll work closely with design, production, vendors, and sales to keep our collections on calendar and on margin.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain tech packs, size specifications, BOMs (Bills of Materials), and product documentation
- Source fabrics, trims, and vendors in line with brand and quality requirements
- Own vendor communication and follow-ups through sampling and production
- Monitor the sampling process and ensure timely approvals at each stage
- Plan and track production timelines to meet delivery deadlines
- Work on costing and negotiate with vendors to achieve target margins
- Maintain product calendars and ensure adherence across departments
- Conduct quality checks and uphold product standards
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for smooth dispatch and inventory flow
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Technology, Merchandising, or a related field
- 1–3 years of merchandising experience (freshers with strong internships welcome)
- Strong understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and production processes
- Excellent communication and vendor management skills
- Good analytical and planning abilities
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and merchandising documentation
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience with apparel manufacturing or retail brands
- Familiarity with Indian textiles and craft techniques (block print, chikankari, bandhani, dabu)
- Knowledge of costing and margin planning
- Understanding of fashion trends and market demand
- Experience working with both local and export vendors
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
