Job Summary
We are hiring a Design & Estimation Engineer with experience in electrical panel design, costing, and estimation. The candidate will be responsible for preparing electrical drawings, BOQs, quotations, and supporting execution for LT panels and industrial electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Design LT electrical panels such as PCC, MCC, APFC, PLC, and VFD panels
- Prepare GA drawings, schematic diagrams, and wiring layouts
- Prepare BOQ, BOM, and techno-commercial quotations
- Analyze RFQs, customer specifications, and tender documents
- Select electrical components including breakers, relays, contactors, meters, and busbars
- Coordinate with vendors for pricing and technical details
- Support project execution and coordination with production teams
- Ensure compliance with IEC/IS standards and customer requirements
Requirements
- Diploma / BE in Electrical Engineering
- 2–6 years of experience in electrical panel design & estimation
- Knowledge of LT panel manufacturing and electrical components
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel
- Good understanding of costing, estimation, and electrical drawings
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with PCC, MCC, APFC, PLC, and VFD panels
- Knowledge of busbar calculations, cable sizing, and load calculations
- Tendering and vendor coordination experience
Salary
₹15,000 – ₹40,000 per month (based on experience)
