Job Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and Indian GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Handle month-end and year-end closing processes.
Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Prepare cash flow statements – on Daily basis.
Assist the Finance Manager with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Maintain project control sheets and have knowledge of the ProjectWise accounting system.
Support the Finance Manager (FM) in financial planning and analysis to drive informed business decision-making.
Reconcile intercompany transactions between UAE and India entities.
Stay updated on regulatory changes in both jurisdictions and implement necessary adjustments.
Prepare sales invoices.
Maintain a record of all fixed expenses and remind the Finance Manager at least one week before each payment due date.
Track company credit card payments.
Record and reconcile supplier invoices.
Manage employee petty cash and overtime payments.
Maintain cheque trackers, security cheque trackers, etc.
Maintain and manage the PO register and prepare reports as required.
Possess basic knowledge of ERP implementation.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification preferred (CA Inter).
Min 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in multinational or cross-border environments.
Strong knowledge of:

IFRS

UAE VAT laws (Preferred)

Indian taxation (GST, Income Tax, TDS)
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, or other ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills (mandatory).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Strong multitasking abilities.
Ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working in both UAE and Indian financial environments.
Exposure to multi-entity or group company structures.
Experience in audit coordination and regulatory reporting.
