Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Banking Executive to manage corporate banking relationships, credit facilities, treasury operations, banking compliance, cash flow management, and financial MIS. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in handling Cash Credit (CC), Bank Guarantees (BG), Letters of Credit (LC), bank documentation, facility renewals, and project financing, preferably in the construction, infrastructure, EPC, or project-based industry.
Key Responsibilities1. Bank Relationship & Credit Facility Management
- Maintain strong relationships with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.
- Manage and coordinate Cash Credit (CC), Bank Guarantee (BG), and Letter of Credit (LC) facilities.
- Prepare proposals for enhancement, renewal, and restructuring of banking facilities.
- Coordinate with banks for sanction, documentation, disbursement, and limit utilization.
2. Banking Compliance & Operations
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual banking reports, including:
- Stock Statements
- Financial Statements
- CMA Data
- Covenant Compliance Reports
- Track and process penal charge reimbursements.
- Manage refunds related to early cancellation of Bank Guarantees.
- Ensure timely submission of all banking documents and compliance requirements.
3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Prepare project-wise cash flow statements and budgets.
- Monitor fund requirements, disbursements, and liquidity position.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely availability of funds.
- Monitor daily banking transactions and utilization of credit limits.
4. Financial Reporting & MIS
- Prepare monthly banking and financial MIS reports.
- Analyze budget versus actual performance and identify variances.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Prepare reports for management review and decision-making.
5. Project Financing & Investor Support
- Assist in identifying financiers, lenders, and potential Joint Venture (JV) partners for new projects and tenders.
- Support the preparation of investment proposals, financial models, and investor presentations.
- Assist in project financing and funding-related activities.
6. Credit Risk & Covenant Management
- Monitor overall credit exposure and utilization of banking limits.
- Ensure compliance with banking covenants and sanctioned terms.
- Conduct regular reviews of credit exposure, outstanding liabilities, and available limits.
- Identify potential financial and credit risks and report them to management.
7. Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with Finance, Projects, Procurement, Legal, Audit, and other departments.
- Manage bank correspondence and documentation.
- Ensure proper maintenance of audit-ready banking records and documents.
8. SOPs & Process Improvement
- Develop and implement SOPs for banking and treasury processes.
- Standardize processes for:
- Bank Limit Applications
- Renewals and Enhancements
- BG/LC Processing
- Reimbursements
- Compliance Submissions
- Maintain a systematic document repository for all banking workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Banking, or a related field.
- MBA Finance / CA Inter / relevant professional qualification will be an advantage.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in banking, corporate finance, treasury, or financial operations.
- Strong knowledge of CC, BG, LC, CMA Data, banking limits, and credit facilities.
- Experience in dealing with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, ERP, financial modelling, cash flow management, and MIS reporting.
- Good analytical, communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.
- Experience in the Construction, Infrastructure, EPC, Renewable Energy, or Project-Based Industry will be preferred
